Peter and Fa Finau are the Senior Pastors at Harvest Time Ministries since the official planting of the church on the 5th May 2013. They have 3 children: Caleb (22), Asiah (17) and Ezekiel (16). They are all serving alongside their parents at HTM and enjoying ministry as a family.
Growing up in South Auckland serving the local church in Otara, they uprooted their young family to Brisbane for a fresh start, not knowing that this was all a part of God's great plan.
They love serving our community in Deception Bay and are very excited for what God is doing and about to do in the Moreton Bay Region.
We are both very excited for what God is doing in our lives. Harvest Time (HTM) was planted as a Samoan Ethnic Church but we have seen that God is quickly changing the demographic of our church. We can not be more excited by it. God is in control and we are just enjoying life with Him.
Our hearts are to see people grow their faith in Jesus and to help equip people to build long, lasting and meaningful relationships with Him.
We grew up in the church serving in worship and in the youth and have a heart for both worship and young people.
We have been married now for 22 years and we love to see strong families being built in God.
Feel free to join us for worship and fellowship, and know that "You have a purpose in this life, and His name is Jesus".
See you on Sunday
Ps Pete and Fa Finau
Harvest Time Ministries started as a small fellowship by 2 families in Feb 2011. It started as just a fellowship of prayer and the sharing of the Word of God. By 2012 it had grown quite significantly and the members at the time felt that it was no longer small enough to call a fellowship and it was time to plant the church and seek a Pastor.
On May 5th 2013 Harvest Time Ministries (HTM) was planted and Peter and Fa were ordained as the Pastors of the Church.
In 2014, HTM joined the Australian Christian Churches (ACC) movement and the church has continued to flourish since.
The Bible is inspired and the only infallible and authoritative written Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:19-21)
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; 21 Corinthians 13:14)
Belief in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
Belief in the blessed hope – the rapture of the church at Christ’s coming (1 Thessalonians 4:17); in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation (Daniel 1:22; John 11:25-26; Revelation 21:7-8)
The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ (Ephesians 1:7)
Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation (John 13:13; 1 Peter 1:23)
Belief in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by Whose in dwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy life (Galatians 5:16)
The baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2-4 is given to believers who ask (Luke 11:13)
Belief in the present day reality of the supernatural operation of the gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8-10; Hebrews 23:4)
The redemption work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer (Isaiah 53:43; Matthew 8:17)
Observance of the ordinances of Christian baptism by immersion for believers and the Lord’s Supper (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
